Upcoming release speed improvements

Michael How much improvement are you anticipating?
A very significant one:
About 1.6 to 1.8 on rollouts compared to 2.00.164 (no matter what CPU is used). This is due to the introduction of pruning. The cost in term of Elo is 0.2 Elo (less than 0.01 PR) for all levels, so pretty much insignificant.
I've also worked on maximizing the CPU usage during match analyze. For a 3-ply analyze of a match the speed improvement is 2.2, using World class it's only 1.2. This is on my core i7, improvements will be lesser on CPU with less cores (and greater on the one with more).
Here is the result of a test for rolling the opening move 31 in 3-ply, stopping the RO when the CI reached 0.010
V1.21: 2675 seconds (6327 games) V2.00.164: 1682 seconds (3456 games) V2.00.166: 933 seconds (3636 games) and with a fixed number of games in 3-ply (1296) on XGID=-aB-B-DBA-B-cB---b-cbbb---:0:0:1:00:7:9:0:25:10
V1.21: 244 seconds (0.0072 CI) V2.00.164: 286 seconds (0.0051 CI) V2.00.166: 186 seconds (0.0053 CI) Match analyze test: 200 unlimited games session in 3-ply
V1.21: 3 min 16 s V2.00.164: 3 min 31 s V2.00.166: 1 min 34 s NOTE: 2.00.166 is not yet released.
