With the cube available, breaking contact on the next roll wins the game for White save for quite a high-pipped reply. Thus 6/3* doesn't really leave many more bad variations, and I am not even sure they are as bad, for Blue may well take after a hit - enter variation. And it seems clear that the hit has much more upside.
2. b/21 8/5*
The position calls for bold plays, but 8/5* may cross into foolhardy. However that's still my play.
3. Double/take
With a tight position like this the 5-point game plays almost like a race, The 24pt guard has some value, but not much with blue having such a fine distribution. The race alone is a close drop, but the anchor and guard must at least add enough value to push into take territory
4. b/19 4/1
Simple plays for simple people. White's 4 point board must be respected, and the ace is for now the ony place the 4pt builders can go.
5. ND/T
Looks a bit early with only one point and a lot of contact to offset some of Blues racing lead. The score means a little, White will be a bit slower to recube to 4. I still think it early
