What Chuck/Ed/Neil said - "i7 2xxx series" is the beast. 2920xm is quickest.

What is essential is that your cpu has 2 cores, and those have 4 cores and are of new generation.

I think your laptop's mother board does not support these new processors, so I would buy new laptop when this one seems is deprecated for your use.
