I was immediately inclined to hit but it is interesting to consider that 16/36 rolls leave white a direct shot next roll. Timing is an issue for both players, with it seems black having a slight edge there. White is slightly ahead in the race so overall it seems to point towards hitting. If gammons were more costly I think I would anchor. bar/20 13/6
