The race is close. If White anchors, he may have problems getting those checkers home later. White's home board is stronger than Black's at the moment, but I think it hardly matters since it rates to get stronger in next few rolls while Black's Board does not. If White does not hit now he will have problems with his sixes. The hit may backfire, but I'd go for it now since if he dances I can cube him out next turn.
