That is my first reaction as well. Hitting leaves a lot of blots and shots, making the anchor is solid, you are a bit ahead in the race, and may have a shot next turn.

If you hit, I wonder how it goes. You get cubed immediately from the bar I suppose, and then if Falafel would dance, can you recube?

I think I'd anchor OTB.
