A +1 to what everyone else here has already said. This was a fantastic event in every way--all the backgammon you could want to play, and all the food you could reasonably eat over a long weekend. Rory may have set a record for increased attendance at an established tournament, and deserves credit for his hard work and his creative innovations. His staffers Bill and Beth were helpful, experienced and patient, and his dad did great as caterer-in-chief.

Another draw to those of you who didn't make it this time: it was an extremely friendly event, with lots of people meeting and greeting who had never met before, or only knew each other by their online handles. Next year, why don't you come and join the fun here, too?
