Congratulations and THANKS to this wonderful representative of The Third Coast Backgammon Club. This is a club that has been primarily a chouette group that has existed for over 20 years and in addition to hosting many well-known players, has welcomed many impressive guests over the years including, in just the past couple of years, such notables as Dennis Culpepper, Paul Weaver, MCG, Tobias Helwag, David Wells, John O'Hagan, and many other fine players when the come to Chicago.

Because I have openly posted and publicized many of our biggest blunders and beavers over the years, people have long made fun of the Chicago chouette....perhaps now, thanks to success of our A team, we will get some of the respect we deserve.

Many thanks to the USBGF and particularly Justin, Joe, and Perry for their efforts in organizing and supervising this exciting event.
