The great question of quantifying dead checkers. In this case, I think that made 2pt is a liability for longer than it can be an asset (when rolling forwards). I agree with the others that indicate its a take.

I imagine its a close-ish Double, and equally a Take.

So, what is a dead checker worth in prime rolling terms? Certainly if the 2pt isnt made, and those checkers are in better playable positions, something like a combined 10 pips further back, then this becomes a very easy D/P (unless you get some crazed notions of chasing a 2nd blot). How do we quantify a positions worth when there are points made out of order? I am also thinking that if the 2pt is only slotted then its quite likely a comfortable pass.
