LA Tournament-Pasadena transport

Unfortunately, the person I know who lives in Pasadena will not be attending this tournament. If you can somehow get to the Van Nuys Flyaway (not far from the last LA backgammon tournament), a shuttle leaves every 20 minutes to LAX. I would start this process at least to hours prior to your desired tournament destination time. From LAX, there is probably a shuttle to the tournament hotel (call the hotel to make sure). If you wish to check out other alternatives, go to www.oldpasadena.org/publictransportation. I know Supershuttle could pick you up and take you to LAX for about $45. And of course, you could always hitch a ride with a little old lady.
