No, they don't necessarily lose the abilities of creativity, imagination, and others; however, they may choose not to exercise them -- if, in fact, their emphasis is in achieving the lowest possible PR, at all costs.

I think a human player's game may be adversely affected by bot play and study unless they remain vigilant to the potential effects. As an example, in playing a bot set to it's most skillful settings, one may somewhat confidently assume that almost every cube offered by the bot is most efficient and, consequently, likely a take. Should such a player then transfer this knowledge and playing style to his/her own game, with less skillful opponents (in comparison to the bot), those highly efficient and timely cubes may play into the hands of the weaker opponent.

The considerably weaker opponent should generally want to shorten the match with larger cubes and volatility, in the hopes of good fortune. The more skillful player may well wish to lengthen the match, depend on his/her skill, depend on the opponent's inexperience and/or lack of skill, mitigate the luck factor, and not give up any crooked numbers on the scoreboard.

Certainly world class Player A is going to seek to squeeze every ounce of advantage/equity and give world class Player B cubes at every level of observed efficiency; however, world class Player A should be a bit more restrained in providing Joe Schmo unnecessary opportunities.
