Ah, 33... probably the most puzzling reply...
The candidate doublets to be played are: 6/3(2), 8/5(2), 13/10(2), 24/21(2).
Against D plays (with a high priming and blitzing threat), 8/5(2) is particularly good because the blot on the 8pt does not face split checkers; 24/21(2) is also good because it directly threatens the checkers brought down and also contrasts the priming plan.
So the default play for me is xyD-33C.
But... when x = 5, the opponent has a heavy 8pt to unstack. So I'm doing her a favor in coming forward with 24/21(2). It's better to wait back on the 24pt. In this case, 8/5(2) goes well with 6/3(2), because priming with 13/10(2) is not attractive being forward in the race.
Therefore (ignoring Nack's spoiler):
32D-33C
43D-33C
52D-33A
54D-33A
My answer is also valid for DMP, as I'm not able to spot the subtle differences when gammons don't count on both sides. Maybe N or O could be better in the latter two cases.
At GS the most important thing is to anchor with 24/21(2), while attacking with 6/3(2) and 8/5(2) is less important.
Therefore xyD-33B for all.

The reason for 54D-33E (correct answer for money according to Nack's "Express") is probably that it makes play opponent's 5s very bad.
