To me, the lessen of the article is that if somebody will pay you broadcast a show, the networks will broadcast the show (within reason).

The poker shows were essentially an advertisement for the online poker sites. Now that these are "on hold," the volume of poker on TV is going to take drastic drop.

Also, I found the WSOB videos to be watchable. With editing, you can get to the interesting critical plays. The poker shows skip 75% of the hands where there is no action.
