Despite the fact that it's DMP, I will not get fancy-schmancy with 15/9 12/7.

I might consider making the bar if I thought I had sufficient resources to make my opponent crack. The bar is nice if opponent is going to roll 33, but otherwise it's just a problem point. A point not cleared is a point to be feared.

So for me the choice is 12/6 and then to decide between 15/10 and 13/8. I don't find that so easy, but I'll pick 15/10 for the flexibility and because opponent's board is still so undeveloped. It's fourteen shots that way (opponent won't hit with 53) versus seven after 12/6 13/8, but being hit with the seven shots is worse than being hit with the fourteen--that is, if you knew the opponent would hit after whichever move, you'd play 15/10. Still, it's tough to say for sure that it's better overall to leave 19+% extra immediate ways to be hit.
