I slot our 5pt. I know it could be risky and we can lost 20 pips in the race and that we slot that point with wrong checkers (those from midpoint not from 6pt) but it is early in the game and we need some improvement and have to play some backgammon. And unstack heavy loaded midpoint. We have 1s and 3s for cover.

We are ahead in the race and have less checkers back and we have no anchor but white does. Magriel safe vs bold criteria point for safe play. Run backman is my vote. There is no rush for fancy moves.If white miss us we have great chance to escape last back checker.
