1. I think blue should go for the win here and play 22, 2. If the blot on the 7pt is hit, blue might still anchor and could even sometimes win. White will try to attack and will sometimes win a gammon, but blue's board is strong so blue can sometimes win by hitting back.
2. 14*, 11. After this both players will have 2 checkers back. I think the race is more important than holding both 5 points.
3. Redouble and a close take because of blue's bad structure.
4. 18, 10. I think blue should take action now. The hits on the 9-point are not too dangerous because they force white to give up his anchor.
5. D/ Easy take. I think it's a double because blue's position never gets really bad and there are several sequences where blue loses hit market.
