I'm just learning the game, so take all this with a big grain of salt:

I think the position calls for safe play, both because most of the equity comes from the race lead and the danger from the prime. So I'd make the 1-point and hope that buys enough time to pick up the blot on the 21 point. The fifth board point seems huge here.

If white dances after 6/1,2/1 blue seems to have a fairly efficient double, although I'm particularly bad at cube decisions with a lot of gammons around. Is blue already too good to double? I don't think so, but I think anything that hits after is a market loser, so a double seems called for. I'd take it without much thought, but I'm not confident in my judgement here.
