1) 22/20 9/7(2) 6/4* to prevent a 4pt anchor, upgrade the useless 9pt to a much better 7pt and fallback on a 20pt anchor if hit.
2) D/T - Blue wins on most the 12/36 hitting numbers, but in 18/36 cases he leaves one or more direct shots against a board with two blots but still dangerous. Only 43 and doublets don't leave direct shots. The volatility, due to the direct shot and the blots on White's board, can make it a double, but race disadvantage and lack of flexibility (from Blue's side) make it a take.
3) So it was D/T. 5/1(3) 4/off - Are the extra gammons due to the extra checker off worth (twice) the 2 additional shots? I don't think so: I would guess ~6% more gammons but also 5.5% more hits i.e. ~4% more losses (the numbers with '~' are only guesstimated).
4) This looks like a variant of position #2. This has more direct shots but also more safe plays (however from both sides). D/T for the same reasons.
5) D/P as Blue has 10 checkers in the zone, no dead checkers, no stacks and virtually 3 board points (36/36 numbers cover at least 1) vs only 1 home board point and all spares stacked on 6pt and midpoint.
