So, players engage in an endurance contest, to have the other player call the break, then go to the restrooms or the bar to get water or outside to get fresh air, on the opponents match time!

This seems so strange to me really.

What are the pros? You force players to take shorter breaks? It seems like the wrong solution to a problem that has nothing to do with the actual game?

Chiva, could you elaborate a little on this? It's a very interesting idea to bring breaks into the timing, but it just seems a bit off to me the way you did it, however it could be tuned to something useful...

And are there any readers of this forum who was participating in a match with that time format? I'd like to hear their impression.
