1. 23, 1. Escaping would give white attacking chances. Maybe it would be the best move with the cube in the middle, but with the cube on our side I prefer to make slow improvements and maybe improve our prime first.
2. 18(2) 2, 1. We're behind in the race but we still have chances, this preserves some shot chances and doesn't waste too much pips in the race.
3. D/T. Blue doesn't have too many marketlosers but his position is solid enough for a double. I think white can take because the race is almost equal and his strong board gives him some counter chances.
4. D/P. I would drop this cube as blue even though white still has 3 checkers back, because blue's structure is so ugly.
5. 5(2). What else?
