1. My first thought was the leap the prime, but since we're behind in the race, I think we prefer to engage in a priming battle, rather than risk getting attacked. 24/23 6/1 looks awkward but I don't see anything better.
2. We're still behind in the race so I think we need to maintain contact. My first three 5's are 23/18(2) 6/1, and then do we save a 6? Doesn't seem worth it because if we roll a 6 we're going to break a home board point anyway. 23/18(2) 7/2 6/1.
3. With an even race and a stronger board, White must have a take. Though Blue has some strong attacking rolls, I'd wait. ND/T.
4. Superficially this looks like a blitz, and it could turn into a blitz if White gets lucky, but since White has three checkers back and only nine checkers in the zone, the main threat seems to be to prime three of Blue's checkers. White still has a lot of work to do and Blue has no other weaknesses (though his 2pt is a little deeper than he would like) so I think Blue has a take. However, if White makes her 4pt or rolls one of her strong blitzing rolls then Blue will be in a lot of trouble. D/T.
5. PoH gives White an excellent 6 from the bar and turns down an opportunity to make a much-needed anchor, but it still looks best to me. 8/5* 6/5.
