I'd play either 21/14 or 18/11. Generally speaking, in such positions, the 6-away point from White's anchor is the worst spot to be, since it's hard to clear after White comes in. The 5-away point is slightly less bad, the 4-away point slightly less bad than that, etc. The 7-away point is usually the best outfield point to occupy, and the further back you go from there the worse it gets. So by this token, 21/14 and 18/11 seem to upgrade your position the most (18/11 because it puts a checker on the best point, and 21/14 because it gets the rearmost checker moving).
