Fibs security risk

I think you have jumped to an unfounded conclusion here. There are many reason why you may be unable to get fibzilla to connect on your computer that do not mean that fibs is a security risk. And fibs is not a website per se, it is a server that your client connects to over the Internet. This does not mean that it is not possible to have a security issue with it, but the risk are different and the ways your computer controls access to it are different than for a site you access with your browser. There are people on here that know a more about this than I do, but the first place I would look is at your firewall settings. It is likely that you need to tell your firewall that fibzilla is allowed to connect to the Internet. It might also have to do with port settings. While any connection to the Internet is a potential security risk I would bet that fibs is less of a risk than just about any website you might visit. You really should be sure that you know what the heck you are talking about before making a post like this that claims that a server that has been around as long as fibs is a security risk.
