(1)i sacrifice the immediate satifactiion of making the 4 point and get up in his face 24-20(2),i totally destroy his primeing plans and put pressure on his 2 blots,while having plenty of builders to make nice points, and the best defensive anchor affords key slots to be less risky (2)my first instinct is to hit..puts me ahead in the race with little return shots but still yet to bring the last man home...like prob 1 i get in his face and wreck any priming plans,again neutralising the effect of his builders 24-18 22-18....then i go to work on containment:)(3)i anchor and hit..i do have the better board and i am behind in the race(4)i chop his jokers in half while still having a great cube next turn 15-10(2) 8-3 6-1 (5)i cover the one point...still plenty of gammons while not risking the race
