I agree with Timothy, I can't think of any other product where you get the entire original purchase price of the old item for the new item, so why should software be any different? If you don't want to upgrade XG1 remains a perfectly useable product so you are not forced to make a change.

To me the speed improvement alone is worth the cost of the upgrade. Personally I think given the quality and effort that has gone into XG, coupled with the outstanding level of support that Xavier provides these prices are much more than reasonable.
