1) Gammons don't count and blue really wants to hang on to his prime while not allowing white to make another anchor. How to do that? Well, I don't think I want to send a seventh checker back. A tempo hit 6/5* knocks white off a slotted point, and gives blue timing if there's a return hit. OTOH, 23/16 is simpler. Let white clobber the blots and wreck his timing. I'll go with 23/16
2)Time to start clearing points. Which one? Clear from the rear is usually correct and I doubt I would have thought about it at all if not for QF. Clearing the 9 leaves fewer immediate shots and looks more like Trice's wave, so I'll go for that. 9/5 9/7
3) This looks like one wacky game. Seems like Blue's best chance is to roll a prime forward from the outfield, no mean feat with four men already burried. 21/17 21/18
4) Again, Blue's only hope at containment is to build a prime in the outfield, hitting won't contain squat. 12/10 16/11
5)21/13 15/11 14/10 Make a four prime and prepare to roll it forward.
