#1: Bar/22 23/18*. So far ahead in the race, I don't see the need/value to make the gold point here. This can too easily result in a holding vs. holding position with only little advantage for blue.

#2: 18/14* 18/15. This is the chance to leave the barpoint. Only alternative is 18/14*/11. A move like 8/4 5/2 seems too passive. Blue leads already with 37 pips + his roll, so the waiting game would be good for white.

#3: 15/14* 13/10. Two jokers for White, but the extra builder and the flexibility are worth it. Maybe 5/1* is also a strong move. If White didn't have his prime construction, I'd play 5/1*.

#4: D/T. I think this is a take for White, as blue has still a long way to go. White does not need to play 654s, and as soon as blue escapes one checker from 24, white can counter-attack. On the other hand, there are rolls like 55, 22, 66, 64, 62 for blue, so the double looks fairly strong.

#5: Bar/23 9/3. Behind in the race, what blue needs most is an anchor. After 21/15, White would have 21 hitting numbers. And 13/7 looks too blotful.
