1. Although we could go for the immediate kill with Bar/22, 9/4*, I am not afraid of this backgame - if he can even make one. Bar/22, 23/18*
2. Up in the race, better board. There will be no better time to make a break for it then now. 18/14* for sure.I like 18/15 with the three. We get a sort of double-return shot from the bar and hit, and are close to a win if missed.
3. 15/14*. Two on the rack is always nice, even if he anchors his position still sucks. 13/10 looks like the best three if he dances - to aim at the open 4-point. But it is 4 blots. 9/6 may be more prudent with 3 builders for all the inside points and only 1 blot. I'll go with 15/14*, 9/6.
4. 70 pips is a lot and I am not really threatening much this roll. I want to wait until I pop at least one of my stuck men on the 24-point into the game before I think about the recube.
5. The 2 is easy. Jumping out in front of his stack seems wrong. I also want to keep my back guys as far away from his offense as I can. I don't want to expose a third blot either, so I guess I am playing 9/3 by default even though it looks "fugly" as Stick might say. Bar/23, 9/3. I take if doubled next.
