In tennis it is legal assuming it is not only in one motion but also in the same process it wasn't an attempted double hit.

In table tennis double hits of any sort are not allowed but you are allowed to hit the ball with your fingers for eg as part of your record as long as after the ball hits your fingers it doesn't also hit your racket.
