If you are referring to me with this you didn't read what I said previously. If not then it was meant for someone else besides me. if you are referring to me then can you quote where I said this? What I will say is that as long as backgammon flies under the radar you'll be okay. But some day it will take some people strong in their convictions; with no sense of the value of backgammon as a mathematics tool; and a sense of the gambling aspect to start complaining. I can also side with the parents who may feel this way, I think they do have a legitimate argument.
I still personally believe that backgammon at younger ages in school is not the right way. We will need to disagree on that point - but I have never ever said it would be a failure, but I will say that there may be bumps on the road in the future.
College level, different story altogether - I am all for that.
