I still personally believe that backgammon at younger ages in school is not the right way.

What is wrong with young children playing backgammon? The girls were actually even younger than Phil realized. The youngest was 7 and a few were 8 and 9 years old. These girls had a blast shaking the dice and moving checkers around the board. They had absolutely no idea that there is a gamling aspect to the game and if we don't introduce that part of the game to them and they enjoy playing it, why would you believe they shouldn't be tought/playing?
