With trial and error I think that the streaming of these tournaments is improving by leaps and bounds. Rynell did a great job at L.A. and it seems that the Novi event has decided to use an HD camera. this makes a big difference. No need for big dice to represent what is rolled, and very clear picture. So clear that I can make out the rolls on both sides of the board. As for Petko, your arms are going to be infamous!

I bring this all up because the more watchable these things are the more likely people will want to watch again in the future. Many have said the pictures in the past were too fuzzy and made it hard to stay with a match for very long. I think once we get over the technical hurdles, this could be very good for promoting the game. If you thought it was tough to view previously (and may have been turned off), I'd ask you to try and watch the Novi stream.

I also think that broadcasting from a computer with someone translating all the plays from the board to the software on the computer takes away from the human element of the game. I find it interesting watching the people as well as the game.
