XG on Ubuntu

A few people have tried Wine. As Micheal mentions some "anti-hacking" code does not make it through Wine and the program will not work as it should. I start looking into it, but WINE is not stable enough to be supported commercially.
Note that Wine is NOT an emulator (as a matter of fact WINE stands for Wine Is Not an Emulator), it intercepts all windows calls to redirect them to the native OS functionality. This means that programs run (almost) in native speed if it can works. I said "almost" in XG case because I think that redirecting multi-threading will add some overhead.
