Right on point...Alfred... Ray takes alot of heat on this forum his tournament act and his relatively unfiltered commentary (some deserved and some not.

1) Ray generously tips the tournament staff and folks that record his matches. I have seen him do it on several occasions including Monday night in Michigan. I was playing a match in the after tourney and we could here him talking to Carol about taking care of the staff.

2) He is one of the more open and friendly guys to occasional players.

3) he studies the game.... I tried to temp him to come to the Tigers game last Wednesday night and he chose to stay at the Sheraton and study positions.

Congrats to Ray, the combination of all he does with his game is working!!!!
