After all, all of what i really know, i know from Danny. The first cut is the deepest. Making your move makes seven points and a burned checker. Something has to go in the next move. If you leave a shot, this can be recirculated. You win time to hold your position. And the checker on two can form at least a point. In a holding game, you are jockeying for position and just like in track cycling waiting to get off the anchor or squeeze your enemy.
