Before you jump to conclusions, I hope you have noted that you didn't specifically say the top twenty backgammon players. I myself happen to play a pretty mean game of Apples to Apples.

Also, it is possible that the same people have each opened it 7 or 8 times, not believing there was nothing else but the text, and trying to find the Easter eggs. If that sounds like an exercise in futility, recall that you posted on a forum frequented by backgammon players, who have a great deal of experience at such exercises.
