24/16x and then with two checkers allready on the bar and a blot dangling on our ace pt, I prefer to bring more builders by making the 9 pt. The problem with the 2 pt is that we lack checkers in the zone and have an awkward distribution and can only cover the ace pt with 7's and 12's.

If we get hit after 9(2) we'll often still be fine as we have some structure and if missed we may be able to attack further.
