There's nothing ambiguous or "wrong" about nactating White's deuce-entering play as "62." However, I prefer simply "2," because...

When I see an isolated single-digit number in a sequence, it tells me that a player entered one checker with at least one more on the bar. When I see a double-digit-number (and nothing after it before the next hyphen), it tells me that a player entered with two checkers (or four if it's a doublet). Besides, adding the "6" here is an unnecessary character.

Some people like the consistency of using three characters for every play. In that case, I recommend 62<, the "lesser than" sign being the character for entering one checker. In truth, you can get away with using any character you want in the third position as there is only one legal play with 62, but one may as well make the interpreter's job as easy as possible.

That minor detail aside, in general, John, I've been impressed with your recent Nactations!
