"Misinformation That Just Isn't True"

In Response To: Monte Carlo (Stick)

Yesterday I heard a television commercial encouraging people to visit California. The ad stated, "You hear a lot of misinformation about California that just isn't true." Really?

In his post, Mr. Stick provided misinformation that was not true. Stick and I exchanged e-mails just a day or two ago and I informed him that I am going to Monte Carlo. Maybe I am not important enough to be included in Stick's list. Bill Davis, in the Chicago Point (I believe the May 2011 issue), gave a list of the top players who attended Vegas in April. I played there, but Bill did not mention my name. I understand and accept that I am not strong or important enough to be included in Bill's list. Vice versa, Mr. Davis does not make my list of competent tournament directors.

I have every reason to believe that Adam Bulldog Bennett and his father Ed Bennett will also be there. I picked this up from some lousy Web site where I make a lot of silly and annoying posts. Perhaps Steve Hammond from Dallas is also going.

In his e-mail,Stick was kind enough to enlighten me, stating that Monte Carlo is not the capital of Monaco. He said he is an expert on European capitals. Wonder if Stick can name five countries, parts of which lie in both Europe and Asia. Wonder if Mr. Stick can name six countries in Europe smaller than Luxembourg. Wonder if Stick, without looking at a map, can name the country lying totally in Europe that borders on the most other countries.
