Haven't seen the video. Did he intentionally tap the die with his checker? (Obviously Darin thinks he did.) If so, that is blatantly illegal.

Regardless of intent, this is a classic example of why players should NOT be allowed to skirt the rules. E.g. There are players who consistently reposition the dice, regardless of whether or not they interfere with checker movement. Illegal. But if you call them on it they act like you're some kind of obsessive compulsive neat freak. And furthermore, if you call the director, don't expect your side of the issue to be supported.
