Whoops! I guess I just see what I want to see.


Here’s a copy of my post on 2012-Jul-28:

I can tell from the green board in [Martin’s] diagram that [he] used “Copy as:” “HTML (using images)” during the export. Did you know that this forces browsers to download the pieces of the board diagram from the extremegammon.com web site instead of from BgOnline?

When you use “Copy as:” “BGOnline.org,” all the pieces of the board diagram are downloaded from BgOnline. This better for two reasons:

  1. Web pages open slightly faster.
  2. More importantly, the BgOnline message will always display correctly, even if changes are made at extremegammon.com.
