In Response To: Balancing risk vs Opp's 5-point board (David Levy)

Our 5pt is going to be a thorn in our side as long as it's open. It gives White a way to escape, it increases our blotting danger, and it gives White another point to enter on if we hit. I would make the 5pt. The decision is made easier by the fact that no play leaves zero shots anyway, and that there is a blot on White's 1pt.
