In Response To: New Ideas in Backgammon Revisited (Stick)

Unfortunately Snowie thinks my original play of 6/5 loses too many gammons and I still find it hard to swallow. These plays are always tough, finding the tradeoff between your wins, your gammons won, then your gammons lost compared to the other play. When making the weenie play of 24/23 it feels like you're playing not to lose instead of playing to win but it's the 'right' play. This is problem #8 from the book.

Is there any reason people aren't posting (yet)? I can see who comes and goes and only Black Swan has spoken up (welcome and thanks btw!) Hope to hear more out of you when I get things rolling.
