(Good news and bad news. I made Ballard's play.)

I'm sure I would not double this OtB, and I doubt Joe did because (even as good as he was -- and he was REALLY good) I don't think these early doubles were part of most players' repertoire back then. So I have to say:

N+T.

QF is beating me over the head that Stick would double this, and he wouldn't post a position that HE got wrong. :)
