Time is also a huge factor.

You don't have to give a reason if you don't have time (or don't have a reason!). You can simply state your play.

The main point of Kit's OLM is to educate, so when the readers make errors that is a good thing -- we're learning!

Exactly what's going on here.

Being able to debate moves with ease alongside a giant such as Neil is not everyone's cup of tea.

I've found I learn more when I post my ideas, whether right or wrong (and the latter happens a lot -- just ask Stick :). It's not a contest here. If it were I'd have lost long ago. We can learn from bad logic (like mine) as well as good logic (like Neil's). The key is, as you say "we're learning!"
