As already noted, use the relational database instead. The player records will be removed at some point anyway, so it is my advice to all to not use it any more as the stored data won't fit into the new relational database.

More interestingly, it is my experience from a reasonably large data set that on average

total gnu error = 2 X total snowie error cube gnu error = 4 X total snowie error
