If the man on your six point were on your five point, then would be something like a 7-roll position, but a little worse off (perhaps an extra 2 pips of EPC). As it is, if you roll a 5 before you roll a 6, then it's more like an 8-roll position, plus around 2 pips EPC. Since you're as likely to roll a 5 or a 6 first, the EPC will be about halfway between 52 (7x7+1+2) and 59. Call it 55. Carter's EPC is pretty much the raw pip count plus 7 (low wastage position) - call it 59. Trice reckons the point of last take (in terms of pip deficit) is the number of rolls your position is less 3, which gives 4.5. This makes it a take, but a close one, so a double for you.
