Surprising difference between 25-away/25-away and money

I have a guess of why you were surprised about it being a money take. Blue is "up a pip", but note that if he lost that pip by moving a checker back from 3 to 4 his position is stronger. 2121 vs 2121 is a .044 money drop. The miss on 22 is big.
