My brother would get those plays right and his ER would blast double digits every day of the week.

A lot of voters didn't find the right plays on GoL (or should I say GU, not to be confused with GNU). I find the discussions interesting and helpful, even when the amount of equity at stake isn't large. Kit does a good job of identifying the proper themes and principles, which can often be applied to a wider range of positions. I much prefer that format, where I'm the one who gets to decide if a given play is interesting or worth spending time on. If it's not, I skip the thread and I don't feel I've lost anything. It's not a race, and it's not like the OLM is the only source of study material.
