non-backgammon backgammon books

I've been wanting to ask this for awhile. Stick's New Years Resolutions post reminded me.

What non-backgammon books have helped people with their backgammon game? The first reference I ever remember is in Kleinman (probably Vision...) where he says S. J. Simon's WHY YOU LOSE AT BRIDGE is such a work. I have read this (long time ago) and agree, but you pretty much need to know how to play bridge to understand this book.

I've long touted WINNING: The Psychology of Competition by Stuart H. Walker (an M.D. who was a non-medalist olympic class rower) and more recently Thinking Body, Dancing Mind: Tao Sports for Extraordinary Performance in Athletics, Business, and Life by Huang and Lynch.

In particular, with the explosion in poker books, are there any that shed light on playing better backgammon?
